Get in touch to hire our accessible white-walled high street gallery space for an exhibition, shoot or event. All income from space hire funds our venue, making our inclusive low / no cost art, craft, music, and wellbeing community programme possible.
Hire charge sliding scale:
Tier 1: 20% of your ticket sales
Self-funded artists, people building something new, and those who expected funding but were not successful can hire the space risk-free for 20% of their income from ticket sales or workshop fees. We expect those on tier 1 to move toward tier 2 when income becomes regular.
Tier 2: £15 p/h for funded projects (under £20k)This discounted tier is subsidised by funding brought in by Arts in Ramsgate and voluntary work.
Tier 3: £17.50 p/h for funded projects (over £20k)
This is our standard ‘break even’ price which covers venue costs.
Tier 4: £23 p/h for corporates & ‘for-profit’ events
This is our solidarity rate for profit-making events run by those who are able to give back and help us subsidise our space to make it accessible for those on low or no income, or artists and practitioners trying something new.
We have a blanket policy that nobody is ever turned away for lack of funds and we request that everyone who books the space works with us to create opportunities for inclusion for people who couldn’t otherwise afford to join in.
We can quote to support you with invigilation, assistance hanging your show, event support for your private view, marketing and promotion or to provide a projector or PA system.
Facilities include a kitchenette, folding trestle tables and chairs, two sofas, floor rugs, a decent stereo with Bluetooth connection and WiFi.
Our venue has flat access and a roomy accessible loo with with baby changing facilities.
